This workshop was organised by the Digital Curation Centre, the California Digital Library and the DART project. The aim was to bring together people undertaking work on Data Management Plans (DMPs) to provide an international forum for sharing lessons and expertise. The DART project methodology for developing an evaluation rubric was used in a practical exercise on reviewing DMPs.
This workshop is aimed at RDM support staff at institutions to show what can be done with DMPonline. The DCC team will introduce the core functionlity of the tool and hands-on sessions will demonstrate and let you try out key features.
The 14th edition of the International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC) will be run in partnership with the University of Melbourne. The conference will be hosted at the new Faculty of Arts development at Arts West, which has award winning, state-of-the art facilities.
The RDMF is returning - unconference style! Hot on the heels of a trial at IDCC in Melbourne, we're bringing an unconference to the UK community.
Managing and sharing data effectively requires a significant investment from research communities and data service providers. Effort needs to be allocated to plan and execute data management activities such as creating data documentation and preparing data for deposit. Resources also need to be committed to ensure appropriate services are in place and required allocations are made.
